We’ll be diving into intermediate concepts and techniques and will refine our practice. The group will be homogenous in level and should allow for a deep dive. You don’t need an overly strong acro background, although proficiency in rolling, cartwheeling, floor maneuvering is required.

Safely and creatively practicing acrobatics requires that one takes care of the body, strengthens it and keeps it supple. During the workshop, Nil will introduce various modes of conditioning and show his favorite patterns to build resiliency, elasticity and control.
Falling is part of the game, so better learn how to do it gracefully and skillfully! Next to more advanced rolling maneuvers, you’ll also challenge these skills in playful partner games and expressive tasks. You’ll learn to absorb impact like a cat, bounce in and out of the floor like a rubber ball and redirect falls like flowing water.
The Arching Academy will teach you all tools necessary for advanced arching maneuvers. We’ll dive into topics such as one leg landings, breaking inspired techniques and redirections mid air.
Imagine you could move in a place where gravity doesn’t exist – imagine all the wonderful possibilities you’d have! While we won’t leave our planet in this workshop (bummer, I know), we’ll use partners to recreate this impossible scenario. We use this to open up pathways into aerial maneuvers and jumps – and yes, we’ll go further than the basic Butterfly kick!
A mover since day one: early exposure to various disciplines formed Nil’s love for movement and honed his connection to physicality.
His teaching is informed by various interests and practices, including rehab & health training, acrobatics, skateboarding, dance, weight training, parkour, didactics, pedagogy. The way of working is and remains dynamic: new experiences are integrated into the work, curiosities are being followed.
The teaching goes beyond the physical: aspects such as learning experiences and processes, exploration of the self, trust in one’s own body or fear management are an integral part of the approach.
